Scottsdale Night Fun

January 25, 2011

Spotted Donkey Cantina

After a long day of hiking, it was time to grab a bite to eat! With the assistance of Yelp, we tracked down the #1 ranked Mexican Restaurant in the area, the Spotted Donkey Cantina. They serve a divine mix of Southwestern/Mexican cuisine that left us VERY happy! The ambiance is fantastic with dim lighting, rich woods, and wonderful accents.

Our night then continued at my new favorite bar, EVER, Greasewood Flat! Guys, this place was AMAZING! Greasewood Flat is an old stagecoach stop that is still open & operating, a few episodes of “Bonanza” were even filmed there. It’s completely outdoors, with fire pits surrounding the dance floor for those who’d like to sit & warm-up. A live country music band set the scene for such an excellent (and warm) Arizona evening.
