Quebec City: Part 2

April 8, 2011

Day #2 in Quebec was the perfect day to rent a car and venture to the Ile d’Orleans, a gorgeous island in the middle of the St. Lawrence River. This Island is famous for its agriculture, and is dotted with precious farms, cideries, vineyards, & maple trees.

Driver Extraordinaire!

We spent the better part of the day driving around on one of the few roads (there is one road that circles the entire coast of the island, where all of the shops & such are located, so it was easy peasy). We made stops at a wonderful Chocolaterie, a few cideries, and a Sugar Shack (well, the Sugar Shack was visited 3 times due to some French/English translation confusion).

We also randomly came across this guy, who was kite boarding across the open land (note: these pictures make the weather seem a LOT more intense than it really was!)
